An online meeting was held on August 25, 2020 with the representatives of Microsoft company in Kazakhstan.

 Microsoft and IT University are planning to build an experimental Microsoft Azure laboratory at the University. The laboratory will provide our students the opportunities to gain practical knowledge of creating, deploying and managing applications on a global network using popular tools and platforms. Microsoft Azure is a versatile set of cloud services designed for variety of usage.

“Our long-standing partnership with Microsoft provides excellent opportunities for our students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice using cutting edge technology. This has allowed the university to continue trainning highly demanded IT specialists for practical work, and for the university to take a leading position as a digital University” - said the rector of IITU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Raisa Uskenbaeva during the meeting.

For his part the CEO of Microsoft in Kazakhstan, Tibor Koleyak, noted “education sector has always been a strategic direction for Microsoft, therefore at this laboratory Microsoft plans to develop solutions for the digitalization needs of various business sectors in the future"
